These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by IZCO Electrical Pty Ltd. By requesting or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

“You” and “the Client” refer to the person, business, or entity requesting our services.

These terms apply to all residential, commercial, and Level 2 electrical work carried out across Sydney and surrounding areas.

2. Scope of Services

We provide a wide range of electrical services, including but not limited to:

  • Level 2 ASP services authorised by Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy
  • Overhead and underground service line installation and repairs
  • Private power pole installation and replacement
  • Metering services and switchboard upgrades
  • Disconnections, reconnections, and defect rectification
  • Temporary power supply for construction sites
  • General residential and commercial electrical work
  • Emergency electrical services available 24 hours

All work is carried out by licensed and insured electricians in accordance with NSW regulations and industry standards.

3. Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotes are based on the information available at the time of inspection or enquiry
  • Prices may change if additional work is required due to unforeseen conditions
  • Any variation will be discussed and approved by you before proceeding
  • Emergency or after-hours services may incur additional charges

Any written quote or invoice issued by us will take precedence over pricing, descriptions, or information provided on our website or in prior discussions.

Payment terms will be outlined on the invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless prior arrangements have been made
  • We reserve the right to request a deposit for larger projects
  • Late payments may incur additional fees or interest in line with NSW regulations
  • We may suspend or refuse further work if payments are overdue

5. Access and Site Conditions

You agree to provide safe and clear access to the worksite.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by restricted access or unsafe conditions
  • Any hazards must be disclosed before work begins
  • Additional charges may apply if work conditions differ from what was initially assessed

6. Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our work.

  • We offer a lifetime workmanship warranty on installations completed by our team
  • This warranty covers faults caused by installation errors
  • The warranty does not cover:
  • Misuse or tampering by others
  • Damage caused by external factors such as weather, accidents, or third-party work
  • Normal wear and tear

Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied materials and equipment.

7. Level 2 ASP Work and Network Providers

As a Level 2 Accredited Service Provider (ASP #5014), we are authorised to carry out network-related electrical work.

  • Some services require coordination with Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by these network providers
  • Scheduling, approvals, and outages may be subject to external timelines

8. Compliance and Safety

All work is carried out in accordance with applicable laws, standards, and industry requirements, including:

  • Australian Standards such as AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules)
  • NSW electrical safety regulations
  • Network provider service and installation rules for Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy

Where required, we will issue a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) for completed electrical installation work and submit it to the relevant network distributor.

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if safety risks are identified or if the installation does not meet compliance requirements.

9. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • We require reasonable notice for cancellations or rescheduling
  • Late cancellations may incur a call-out fee
  • If we are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, we will reschedule at the earliest available time

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing faults or hidden electrical issues

Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Emergency Services

We offer 24 hour emergency electrical services.

  • Response times may vary depending on location and demand
  • Emergency call-outs are prioritised based on safety risks
  • Additional charges apply for urgent and after-hours work

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Any disputes may be handled through NSW Fair Trading or relevant legal channels.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will always apply to new service engagements.
